Prof. Fabio Barboza Passos vom "Dep. de Engenharia QuÍmica e Petróleo" bietet Diplomarbeiten an:
- Our laboratory may receive students to perform experiments in the following areas: hydrogen and synthesis gas production from natural gas, hydrogen purification for use in fuel cells by selective CO oxidation, nitrate removal from water using catalytic hydrogenation, nanotubes production and hydrocarbon conversions (isomerization and reforming). A website (in portuguese) is available (www.uff.br/recat). The student may stay as a visiting student, or may enroll in our graduate program of Chemistry for M.Sc and Ph.D. studies, which would require a longer stay and the students should formally apply for that. There are, essentially, no tuition costs, but, unfortunately, we do not have any scholarship available.
Prof. Leithner würde aber die Beantragung eines DAAD-Stipendiums oder anderer Stipendien unterstützen.
